Fairview Elementary School would like to thank the Ohioville Volunteer Fire Department, Beaver County Sheriff's Department's Tactical and K9 Units, Beaver County Emergency Services, and Project K9 for spending the day with us. Our students had an opportunity to tour the mobile command vehicle as well as the tactical response vehicle. They also participated in learning activities with the fire department, including a tour of two fire vehicles. The administration also presented information regarding school safety protocols and gave the students an opportunity to ask questions. The day ended with a presentation about K9's used in law enforcement/military service and how we can help care for them after their service has ended. FAIRVIEW SAFETY DAY was an amazing day for our students. Thank you to our partners and PTO for making it possible.
