The Golden Beaver Varsity Football Team travels to Beaver this Saturday, September 19th. Kickoff is 7:30pm. To stay under the 250 spectator mandate, Beaver cannot offer us any tickets for this contest. Congratulations to the Middle School Football Team on a hard fought 14-12 victory over Rochester. Our boys will be back in action next Thursday, September 24th vs Central Valley. Game will be played at Monaca Field at 4PM.

Varsity Football opens up section play when they visit South Side on Friday, September 11th. We are currently waiting to see what limited tickets will be available for parents. We will get information out to parents as soon as possible. You can also watch the game through livestream on facebook.com, by accessing the LPPACS and WB Varsity Sports Page. Kickoff is 7pm.

Pre-K Families, Letters regarding Pre-K orientation have been mailed home. It will be held Wednesday, August 26th, between 12:00pm-2:00pm.Students and families will be split into three small groups. In the letter you will find your child’s classroom assignment and also the session in which you will be able to meet your child’s teacher.

Western Beaver County School District One to One Technology Plan The WBCSD is offering a one to one technology plan for every student district-wide, grades K-12. For students in Grades K-3: It is assumed that all students will be participating and purchasing a device through the district’s technology service agreement of $50 for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1” device. If you wish to purchase a personal device or have a financial hardship, please contact Mr. Busby at the Fairview Elementary office at 724.643.9680. For students in Grades 4-12: Each student will be required to have a device. The district provides the option for each student to purchase a device through the district’s technology service agreement. This agreement will allow each student to receive an HP Chromebook at an annual cost of $75 for the initial student and $35 for any additional student in the household.
